I can see the lack of happiness in your eyes
even tho its halloween, its not a very good disguise
it takes two to tango, that is what has caused our demise
including a lack of effort and empty cries
first kiss, last dance, I guess Im too traditional to believe in the past

this whole process is very empowering

Through Phoenix

I woke up in the deepest depths of me
In the crushing darkness of the sea
