Muddy Waters

This is just a phase
It was just a phrase
What if it wasn't a real question?
It could have been just a suggestion
Forgive me,  my mind wanders
Through muddy waters
More often than I count sheep
Still begging to finally go to sleep
Still wondering why I gave all of me
Still searching through that muddy water before me
